Don Juan
Original title: Don Juan
Synopsis
In this conversational, lush and labyrintic poem, Don Juan's travels are used as a vehicle for some of the most vivid and acute comments about human societies and language behavior. The way is what Goethe called "a cult comic language," a genre that he considered impossible in German and which, in his opinion, Byron handled magnificently.
