From earth to moon
Original title: De la Terre à la Lune Trajet direct en 97 heures
Synopsis
We're in 1865. The first of December, at 11 to 13 minutes, not a second before or after, must be launched that immense projectile... Inside you will travel three original and picturesque characters, the first three men to the Moon. It is a fabulous project that has aroused the interest of the whole world. But it's not an easy task to have everything ready for that date... However, if this is not achieved, it will be necessary to wait 18 years and 11 days for the Moon to be in the same conditions as the Earth. Julio Verne makes the reader participate, in a vivid way, in all preparations for this truly exciting adventure.
