The twelve tests of Asterix
Original title: Les Douze Travaux d'Astérix
Synopsis
After a group of legionaries was again defeated by the Galos, the Romans imagine that with such force, the Galos cannot be human, but gods. Julio Caesar is informed and, although he is skeptical of that idea, he makes the decision, along with his advice, to go to Armorica, to talk to Abraracurcix, the village leader. He proposes to the Galos a series of twelve tests, inspired by the famous twelve works of Hercules (although these tests are new, as the works have gone out of fashion). Abraracurcix brings together his best warriors, Asterix and Obelix, to respond to the challenge. The Roman Caius Pupus is sent with them to guide them and make sure they do each test.
