Legacy in the bones
Original title: Legado en los huesos
Synopsis
The trial against the stepfather of young Johana Márquez is about to begin. He was attended by a pregnant woman, Amaia Salazar, the inspector of the Foral Police, who a year ago had resolved the crimes of the so-called basajaun, who sowed the Baztan Valley with terror. Amaia had also collected the incriminating evidence against Jason Medina, who imitated the < i > modus operandi < / i > of the basajaun who had murdered, raped and mutilated Johana, his wife's teenage daughter. Suddenly, the judge announces that the trial must be cancelled: the accused has just committed suicide in the court's bathrooms.
