The Town
Original title: The Town
Synopsis
In the city, the second part of the "Trilogy of the Snopes," initiated by El villorrio (Alfaguara, 1987) and concluded with La mansion (Alfaguara, 1990), the author follows the development of the Snopes through three points of view. The first of them is that of K. V. Ratcliff, a sewing machine salesman who had already appeared in Sartoris and while agonizing. The second is that of his friend Gavin, to a large extent against the good judgment of the former. And at last, that of Charles Mallison, incarnation of hope in the virtues of a new South of the United States, and protagonist of his own history of initiation.
