A dark matter
Original title: Un asunto tenebroso
Synopsis
It is based on a historical fact: the abduction of Senator Clément de Ris, to whom the character of Malin (Count of Gondreville) corresponds. Malin, who knew the secret of an anti-apoleonic conjury, which had been urged by Fouché at the time of the battle of Marengo, was kidnapped by the Minister by masked agents who must search his house and take over some letters.
