The Last Precinct
Original title: The Last Precinct
Synopsis
It's Christmas, and coroner Kay Scarpetta just lost her lover, Benton Wesley. The last case of the detective is still open, as it has not been possible to clarify the authorship of a series of murders, blamed on the Mafia Chandonne. A conspiracy leads the situation to unsuspected limits, to the point that Scarpetta can be prosecuted for murder. On the other hand, the evidence points to a possible relationship between the crimes and Benton's death.
