The Anger of God
Original title: The Anger of God
Synopsis
In the autumn of 1379, the power of the crown is in the hands of John of Ghent, Duke of Lancaster, and in the kingdom discontent grows. The French attack the ports of the south and the economic difficulties are felt in the field, where a rebellion is built led by the mysterious head of the Great Community of the kingdom, who proclaims himself Ira Dei, that is, the cholera of God. Ambushed by all this and an unexplained series of crimes, Ghent has no solution but to resort to John Cranston and Fray Athelstan.
